Razi was born in Lahore, Pakistan. He received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. He continued his education in the United States where he obtained a Master of Business Administration degree. Razi became a licensed Certified Public Accountant in 1987. 

Razi is currently a self-employed Certified Public Accountant. His office is located in Greater Los Angeles where he offers his clients a wide range of services including accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and income tax preparation. 

Razi distinguished himself amongst his fellow members of the Reseda Chamber of Commerce as a capable and effective leader by virtue of his performance as President. As President, he worked diligently to advance the goals and principles of the organization, and his achievements have earned him great respect and sincere admiration from his fellow members. 

Razi is a prominent member, former treasurer, and president of the Rotary Club of Greater Van Nuys. He has been fundamental to many of the club's humanitarian efforts. 

Razi married his wife Sakina in 1985. He is a proud father of four children and two grandchildren.
